Cafe des Grand Palais Paris Reviews
Nice and calm place Aug 05, 2011
We were out walking and we felt that we were getting hungry. We were in the area of Avenue des Champs-Élysées and decided do seek for a place just outside the pricy area. We walked behind the Grand Palais and next to the backside we saw Cafe des Grand Palais.
We managed to get a table outside even though it was pretty full. The waiter was a young guy but he was very quick and service minded; I observed that he several times managed to do upselling and I have always had huge respect for people that have that talent.
My friend Jacob ordered a Trad jambon Paris that cost 4 euro while I went for a Salade Nicioise that set me back 14,50 euro. Me salad was really tasty and I was truly enjoying the life at the corner. While we were there a truck was trying to pick up one of the guests cars because at it was parked in a wrong place.
