Cafe del Mar Bonifacio Reviews
Cafe del Mar Jul 16, 2009
This bar would like to be a disco but it is not yet. Sitting there after midnight in a beautiful night with a temp of close to 30 degrees Celsius is absolutely wonderful.
In Bonifacio there are not that many places that can be resembled to a bar; one of the few ones is Cafe del Mar which is situated in the Harbour area.
The bar is not one of the nicest that I have visited but for Bonifacio it works. The bar is, as many of the establishments here in the harbour, split up in two; one being the original part of the house and the other one a pavilion on the harbour front or a look-a-like bamboo hut next to the water. Most of the actions in the harbour after 11.30pm happen in this harbour bar and in another one further down called B-52.
The music is great and loud; the waitress who was the co-bartender knew fabulous moves with her behind which all the hussars including me enjoyed. The main bartender mixed some good drinks; I must say that I liked his Mojito’s. During the evening two bartenders secures the speed and they were quite nice people.
