Cafe de l'Epoque Paris Reviews
Nice place for a break Aug 04, 2011
Cafe de L'Epoque is a nice cafe in the traditional French style. It is the only cafe on the square it naturally draws the attention.
Looking from outside the cafe sticks out like a canary bird amongst grey sparrows. The marquise is green and yellow and all the chairs are yellow too. Inside it's more toned down with its white floor tiles and beige bar. The furniture inside are all brown and so are the wooden panels. There are many small mirrors and the windows are quite nice as they are rounded. The cafe naturally serves lunch.
The prices are high end Paris prices but I got to mention the sweet and very small waitress, always with a smile on her face and being quite fast, she outran the male one with loads of distance
