Cafe de Winkel
Cafe de Winkel Bandung Reviews
Cafe de Winkel Aug 04, 2011
The Café de Winkel is an open-air restaurant connected to one of the shopping outlets in Bandung. We stopped in here to eat since it was convenient. There is an entrance into the restaurant from one of the stores. They serve both local and western food.
The area is very busy surrounding the restaurant, and since it’s open-air, you can do a lot of people watching. The down side to this is that we had some beggars calling to us and also some peddlers trying to sell their goods while we were at our table. But after a while they gave up and left, so we didn’t let that bother us.
I ordered a cheese pizza with beef pepperoni. The pizza was well worth the visit. It was around 4USD for the pizza, which serves two people. And the Bintangs they served were cold. Asri ordered a dish (it’s in the picture) but I don’t recall what it was. It’s a decent place to stop in for lunch or just a cold brew while you’re shopping in the area, but probably not worth going out of your way for.
