Cafe de Chinitas
Cafe de Chinitas Reviews
Best Flamenco of my life I found in Madrid, not while living in Granada. :P Jul 29, 2008
Now I will start by saying that pricey-ness is relative, but for a student budget, this is not the place to go. If I remember correctly, the "tapas" were priced reasonably, the cheapest being around 6 Euros perhaps? However, the danger comes when ordering drinks, so student beware! As it turns out, no matter what the drink, your first drink costs 34 Euros. Yes, this means that I drank a 34 Euro coke without realizing it! *insert heart attack noises here* For those of you who are far more financially stable than I am, may I remind you that I am a 22 year old college student. (aka zero income) On the other hand, I was fortunate enough to have gone with a friend who happened to be the nephew of the owner, so my coke was free. :D (hooray free stuff!) I am quite sure this place is normally by reservation only, and I imagine that the exceedingly high first drink charge is a cover fee of sorts. With that said, the Flamenco was amazing and totally worth it if you have the cash to flash. :P Need I mention they have a 4-star rating?
