As our hotel didn't offer any breakfast, we had a look around the city centre in search of a cafe for breakfast. More by chance we spotted Cafe Zeus, which is actually a bakery with several indoor seatings and a Iong glass counter.

The interior is relatively large and kept in a simple style. Laminated menus are available on the tables, but most of the things on offer can also be seen in the counter.

We checked the menu, which offered a wide variety of pastries, filled buns, waffles as well as non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks. We decided to order directly at the counter. I chose a bun with jam and a flavourful bun for 1500 BYR each. To drink I had a black tea for 3500 BYR. The plate cost an extra of 650 BYR.

Everything was yummy and we enjoyed a relaxed breakfast in Cafe Zeus.

Cafe Zeus is located at the street vul. Pushkinskaya 20, right in the heart of Brest's lively city centre.

Bakeries are always a good choice if no breakfast is offered by the hotel.
