Cafe Stella Artois

Waiting for friends, family or others in an airport that are being delayed is usually pretty boring. You end up following a Tv monitor with a blinking delay.

In Zaventem it is the same but one way to make time go a little faster is by visiting the only bar in the arrival area. The bar is pretty dull but it give you a selection of some of the most popular Belgian beers like; Duvel, Kriek, Stella Artois, Hoegarden, Leffe bruin and blond. Besides beers you can of cause get coffee and soft drinks and snacks.

I eased my waiting with a Leffe blond which is a nice beer but far from my favourite. One of the things you can do when you are enjoying the cold beer is looking at the happy faces of reunions; where departure usually are sad, arrivals are warm and with smiles. It is lovely to watch the reaction of two or more people meeting each other after some time.
The bar fulfils the basic needs and customers continue to walk in even though it absolutely not is something special.
