Café-restaurant with an excellent view! Sep 12, 2009
The Wilhelmina Tower is THE eye-catcher in Valkenburg. This tower, built in 1906, offers majestic panorama. A view not to miss the Province of Limburg's countryside. In clear weather you can even beyond the border with Belgium and Germany.
The Café-Restaurant is in the bottom of the tower, boasts a wide variety of delicious drinks, snacks and nice meals. Whether it's a fresh cup of coffee with real Limburg flan, or lunch at noon. They also custom buffets for groups and have the ability to organize party nights. The Wilhelmina tower is accessible through a cable car, via a footpath (on foot), by car, bicycle and bus. But the nicest way is of course to take the cable car ride up. Once you reach the café-restaurant you can access the tower through the Café, just follow the signs and climb the stairs to the top of the tower. To do so is free of charge, but you have to climb the stairs yourself though;) |
