Cafe Monopole Maastricht Reviews
Cafe Monopole Feb 11, 2015
After about an hour drive to Maastricht and visiting our first church of the day we decided we needed food! So, Vrijthof is a big square/market place where a lot of things happen like the famous Andre Rieu concerts. It is surrounded by a couple of café’s, restaurants etc. We picked one called, café Monopole. From the outside it looked like a normal restaurants/café. From the inside it was quite the opposite. And taking a better look from the inside it was a bit posher the we usually go to.
Like businessman signing contracts and posh ladies with a designer bag getting some girl time on, you get the point.
That being sad I never felt out of place. Waiters were friendly and the food was great. As always I had a tomato soup, what else is new?? And my husband got a healthy sandwich, our babygirl ate some veggies of his sandwich.
The toilet is located upstairs and has it’s own changing area for the little ones. They don’t however have a highchair so our little one sat on our lap, wich worked out for us.
We payed €18 for 2 drinks and the soup and sandwich.
