If you ever find yourself in Idar-Oberstein, stop in and see Stephanie and Martin at the Cafe Carre. The coolest place in town, this bar/restaraunt is modelled after a typical Irish Pub and serves all manner of German Beer and Wine, Guiness and mixed drinks as well as a complete menu ranging from burgers and wings to Shrimp in Linguini. The owners, Stephanie and Martin, are a married couple who run this bar and both speak English and German fluently. Stop by...and tell them Michael sent you.
