Cafe Cafe - Lima - TravBuddy

I'd say this is a bohemian setting, actually with three locals in Lima, 2 of them in Miraflores (one in the mall Larcomar and the other one in front of the Central Park). They serve drinks, good coffee, sandwiches and deserts and is a place to be seen in Lima. They have happy hour and a special combination for Tea Time: 1 Pisco Sour + appetizer or sandwich + dessert + cappuccino. A good deal!!! Also their Pisco Sour is not bitter, actually a bit sweet, yummy!!!

The Larcomar's Cafe Cafe has a marvellous view of the sea. It's done in wood and the décor is nice. There is an indoor bar and a terrace to relax, chat and enjoy contemporary music while watching the sunset.
For me the local in Central Miraflores is the best :) It's more a groovy coffee shop playing good rock music, with tables on the pavement and inside. Tables on the second level let you check out the crowd below, and those on the street give you an unobstructed view of Parque Central.

It doesn't matter which one, the predominantly young crowd drops by not only to meet up with friends and hang out at the outdoor tables, but also to sample inexpensive pizzas, salads, piqueos, or one of the 26 sandwiches. If you need a real meal, there are also larger plates. It's also a good spot to have a quick and inexpensive breakfast. Drinks include a variety of cocktails and spiked coffees, which are the speciality of the house. Here the drink of choice is the cappuccino calypso, combining a jolt of joe with frangelica, Kahlua, and rum. Don't worry, you can still order your espresso straight up.
