Perfect place for lunch and drinks Mar 02, 2012
For Moroccan standards this place is expensive but I must say, it's really worth it. The Café Arabe is located in the middle of the souks. It has 3 floors which are all decorated in a different style. Because the owners are Italians and Moroccans you'll find a mixed atmosphere and decorations hear. When the weather is nice, the roof terrace is a perfect place to enjoy lunch or to have a drink. I've been in 3 times in 3 days which is a huge average for me :) You can see the Atlas mountains when the weather is good and also the medina can be seen well.

I've ordered traditional food here like a tajine but also a spicy pasta one day. Both of the dishes were very nice. The fresh fruit juices were delicious as well. The staff speaks English here, which is usefull since most of the guests here are tourists. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to enjoy the good life.

great place for lunch Jul 08, 2011
If you are wondering around the small streets of the medina and you find yourself in the area, Cafe Arabe is a perfect place to stop for lunch. It has a mixture of Italian and Moroccan cuisine and a beautiful terrace. It serves alcohol so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with your meal, or even treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail.

Bar / Restaurant with views over the city Feb 02, 2009
Café Arabe is located next to the souks, around 4 minutes from Qobaa Almoravide, although if you don´t find it fast, just ask someone for directions and get ready to pay 30 or 40 Dirhams! The place is beautiful! There are 3 floors with different themes and decoration. In our Riad they recommended us to go for a coffee or drink but avoid having dinner. A Mojito cost me around 90 dirhams, that means it was almost 10 euros! They serve all drinks with olives!

The terrace is upstairs and has beautiful views over the city! In the winter they close it with some kind of plastic, but in the summer is wide open! You can tell not too many local people can afford it, as it was packed of tourists and not a single local! If you are around is a must see place! If you are concerned about the money, just order a mint tea!
