Cafe Ambrosia Valletta Reviews
Atmosphere and fine food Mar 17, 2009
The place is quaint! There are old mirrors on the ceiling with little lights strung around them. The walls are of a warm color and furnishing are traditional. It's small and only accomodates a couple dozen.
The menu is written on a chalkboard on the wall. Some items are staples and there are also new ones every day. The dishes are mediteranean with a slow food approach.
It is known for it's cheese souffle and grilled Gozo asparagus salad of which I had both. They offer a nice wine choice for your meal and delicious desserts, as well, especially the chocolate tart.
It is a favorite among locals....and must agree. The staff is friendly and helpful.
