Young bar with good food and nice atmosphere Jul 13, 2008
We visited Dynia bar because it was close to our hostel. It is though not an evident destination if you are staying in the old town, as it is outside of the Planty park, to the West of the main square. On the other hand, it is though cheaper than the bars and restaurants in the touristic center, and more quite.

There is a nice garden where one can sit, covered from wind by a surrounding wall. Staff is young and friendly, and though they don't all speak English some of them do. The menu is also translated in English, which is very useful as not many tourists speak Polish.

We went to have diner here twice and it was each time very good. Plates are well filled and dishes are all prepared with fresh ingredients. The kitchen isn't that much innovation or refined, but just simple and good. Prices are equally great.

If you decide to drink wine, I can say the white house wine isn't much spectacular but the red one is good and not to expensive either. Last but not least Dynia bar is well decorated in a modern but cozy style. A nice place to drop by when you're in the neighborhood.
