Café de Sluyswacht Amsterdam Reviews
Cafe de Sluyswacht Jun 01, 2016
My niece had a promotion party (she is like genius or something) which was held in this lovely Cafe. One of the smallest cafe's I have ever been. The outside makes up for that though. At the front you can sit and watch people pas by. At the back you can sit and look over the canal. Lot's of boats crossing (which our toddler liked a lot).
The weather was amazing so we sad outside at the back, which was reserved for us.
The stairs up leads to a private area, only for invited guests. We used this to grab the catered food (the food was not from this cafe!) The stairs down led to the restrooms. No baby changing table so be aware of that. Though I highly doubt that toddlers are usual guests ;).
There is not that much room inside so there is a bar and two or 3 small tables. The cafe really relies on the outside area.
Staff is friendly and service was quick. I would highly recommed this place. If not for the drinks defenilty for it's location. A 5 to 10 minute walk from the Dam square will get you to Cafe de Sluyswacht.
