Cafe Rosenberg is a nice homey place on one of the side streets in the center of town. It looks like nothing from the outside, but once inside it has a warm old pub feel. They serve dinner and also have live music. The food is generally Icelandic specialties made in a Continental European style: For instance horse in a bearnnaise sauce. The food was fabulous. The lamb was perfection, the fish was as fresh as could be, and the horse was delectable. Who knew horse could be so good? It is my new favorite red meat. A local live duet played which just provided the perfect modern local atmosphere, even if we hardly understood what was being sung.
