Nice place for a coffee or a beer Oct 01, 2011
The Café Kras or as it was formerly was know Krasnapolsky was one of the more trendy places for the Copenhagen sub-culture in the early 80s; it was also attracting the high end of the dark clothes culture and the bar was always packed. Today it is more polished and have been moving on to have a trendier cosmopolitan look after a serious facelift in 2009.

I remember entering the place after I came back from my 4 years in Brussels and I was complete surprised about the look and feel of the place. Today I like coming there when I am taking a walk in Vestergade; a street that houses some great bars and restaurants. It is definitely worth a stop on the way when you are walking in the city center; at least just to have a cup of coffee or a beer.

In Amsterdam we have a Krasnapolsky hotel, which is very expensive. Thats why I thought it was expensive.
