Café Europa Copenhagen Reviews
In the middle of Copenhagen Jul 23, 2010
One of Copenhagen’s more trendy cafés through the last decades is Café Europa situated one Amagertorv. Amagertorv hosts a couple of the most frequented establishments in Copenhagen and is probably the most trafficked area of the infamous Strøget walking street; it is also the crossing of another walking street; Købmagergade.
The café is the place to sit outside of in a summer day to observe thousands of tourists and inhabitants passing by while you enjoy a café latte and a sandwich in the sun. The service here is always very quick and they even ask for the next step at the order; cash & machine so it can move even faster and you too. When they bring you the food or drinks whatever you order you pay straight away unless you are doing a full lunch.
I have always enjoyed coming here getting a coffee or a beer on a Saturday afternoon observing hungry supper shoppers or tourists walking by. The square is also a very popular place for street performers so there is always something going on. This is also a place where you will see people sitting outside of, even if it is what non-Scandinavians would call very cold.
