Café De Markten

On the wonderful small and cosy Oude Graanmarkt you can enjoy the real Brussels life walking by. The square is just next to the old fish market and it is one of the best trafficked squares measured by pedestrians.

One of the best things about this place is the outdoor service on the square, where you have the ambiance of the city centre without the touristic pressure. We didn’t want to stay too long this time but we had a couple of nice beers and my son really loved his blonde beer. I was happy for that because it was a very mild beer.

The staffs were very fast which absolutely is not normal in a place like this. Usually you can almost sit put for hours is you are sitting outside.
