Cadillac Cafe
Cadillac Cafe Reviews
Mar 18, 2006I was in Manila and a buddy of mine told me about Cebu. I jumped on a plane and in one hour I was on a little island called Mactan. Mactan is where the international airport for Cebu is located. Cebu is just across the bridge from Mactan. I grabbed a taxi and asked him "where's a good hotel?" He took me to a place called the Cadillac Cafe. What a break! I got a great big room with airconditioning, DVD player, cable and all kinds of extras that you never get anywhere. It was 35 bucks a night US. I don't know how much time you've spent in Asia, but as for me I get tired of the noodles with chicken, noodles with pork, noodles with beef routine. This place had sirloin burgers. barbecued ribs, pizza, lasagna, meatloaf and baked potatoes. Boy, I was ready for that. The staff there is a bunch of girls that look like they all should be movie stars. They got motorbikes for rent too. I don't remember what I paid for the bike but it was a new Honda 125 and it was a really cheap price. The place is owned by a retired Californian and he really does it right. That's Cadillac Cafe. |
