Cable Mountain Lodge Springdale Reviews
Luxury at the entrance to Zion National Park Sep 08, 2010
We arrived at the Cable Mountain Lodge in the evening and the man at the office was very welcoming. Check-in was a breeze and he even offered late checkout to us without us even asking.
We entered our room and were very pleasantly surprised. First of all, it smelled heavenly, like aromatherapy when you get a massage...so relaxing! The door opened to a large room with a huge luxurious king bed with loads of pillows. There was big expensive looking furniture and a mounted flat screen TV.
The door to the bathroom was big and vintage looking...really cool. The bathroom had a gorgeous dark wood floor with granite counter top on the vanity and gorgeous fixtures. The shower head was one of those rain shower types. All of the soaps and lotions were Bath and Body Works, my favorite and ironically the same scent of the lotion I brought from home! This place just kept getting better and better!
There was also a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and even a wine bottle opener in the drawer...this place thinks of everything!
The bed was SO comfortable...needless to say we slept like rocks!
Unfortunately we only had one short night here and in the morning before we left we quickly took a walk around the property and saw that there was a grocery market, gift shop, movie theater, photography museum, restaurant, heated pool and probably more that we didn't even get to see. Even with all of these amenities the lodge still felt small and cozy as opposed to over-commercialized and too big like some places. Everyone was so friendly and the market had all of the necessities, i.e. water, food, personal items, beer, wine and much more.
The location of the Cable Mountain Lodge is the best spot outside of Zion National Park. It is literally right next to the entrance to the park and there is even a foot path from the lodge right to the entrance. It couldn't have been easier! Behind the lodge runs a pretty little stream where wild sunflowers grow. It's such a great place.
We paid $135.00 for the night and I thought it was very reasonable for the luxury, location and value. I only wish we had more days in Springdale. I look forward to coming back and staying at the Cable Mountain Lodge.
