Cabinn Express Copenhagen Reviews
Tiny but affordable Oct 01, 2010
We had stayed in a Cabinn Inn before so we knew what to expect. The name basicaly says it all.
Rooms are tiny. Bathrooms even tinier. You will be better of reading the instructions on how to use the fosset before entering the bathroom or you might need a change of clothes.
Everything is compact, which isn't bad really. It's actually like you're staying in a cabin on a boat. Except that the building doesn't move around or anything... which I think is a plus.
Service is, well, rather unfriendly and uninterested, but they get the job done with a minimum of sighing, scowling and yawning.
The hotel is located in a quiet street in Fredriksberg, a mere 15 minute walk from the city center, and has plenty of parking space at 80DKK a night. You better pay up because if you don't, you'll get a parking fine of 850DKK. I think Copenhagen gets most of its income from parking tickets and fines.
During our visit, the breakfast room in the cellar was flooded, but then we hadn't booked breakfast so I couldn't tell you about it anyway.
All in all, the place is quite affordable and has a good location. In a city as expensive as Copenhagen, you can't go wrong with this place.
