nice place, reasonable price, on the beach Dec 16, 2006
In Cahuita, I stayed at Cabinas Palmar. It was a little more expensive than a couple places in town at $20 a night for 3 people or $13 for one. There was coffee ready everywhere and the location was great. In comparison to many of the other places in town, it was definite a luxury accomidation. Two blocks from the beach, one block from the main road through town, very close to a couple great restaurants. And they have hammocks, which I spent quite a bit of time in. I would stay here again if I were in Cahuita!
