A surprising treat on this Caribbean island warm people with big hearts, lots of smiles and laughter. I decided to take my daughter who invited her friend and we had a ball!

Although I was only there in March this year I knew I would be back, I just didn't think it would be this soon. The locals promised better surf at this time, baseball season just started, and I could sneak over to Haiti. It's cool when you go back somewhere and everyone truly remembers you. I love this little surf spot far from the 5-star resorts and scary tourists.

I was briefly in the Dominican Republic, primarily on the North Coast... Puerto Plata, Sosua and Caberete...

My parents have been going there every summer for the past 10 years and they finally offered to pay for me to come. By the end of the trip, I had been un-invited from all future family vacations..oops!

3 weeks in Dominican Republic

overbooked whit 21 persons but the vacation whas fantastic because we travled from hotel to hotel over the island [sorry for the foto's that time i diddent have a digital camera]

I will be spending two years in the Dominican Republic teaching music (choral). During this time, it is my goal to see as many places on this island as I possibly can…and so, the adventure begins.
