My trip with Adi and Uols around the world. We booked our flights and left without a plan what to do and where to go.

January 2007 my mum and dad and my sister and I went to our family in Horsham for a week and then went to the great ocean road and to the east coast of Australia to travel from Fraser Island to Sydney.
The trip was amazing! A wonderful country and very very kind people... Thinking about moving there and live with my family some day...

Having seen the main sights of Melbourne, wondering if we could live there and deciding it was too cold, we hired a car to explore the surrounding areas (whatever they were). We got in the car and promptly realised we had no idea where we were going, so bought a map, and decided on following the Great Ocean Road, before returning to Melbourne to see other places of interest nearer to the city. The main reason for hiring the car was to see the Twelve Aspostles a...

To start with, I'll admit these dates are pretty much guesses, but I do remember how long we stayed in places, so that's OK!
We left Sydney on the night bus to Byron Bay at the start of August...we couldn't get hold of our 'landlord' in the week before we left, so had no idea how much we owed him for the internet or phone so we left him a note and $30. About an hour out of Sydney on the bus he called and in broken English told us we hadn't said when we were leaving, blah blah blah...not our ...

This trip was my first big one on my own, so to speak. I went with a group of people from Upstate NY, none of which I knew before the trip. I was in highschool and traveling without my parents for the first time! :)

I went up to Byron Bay for a bit of sun during the Melbourne winter. Originally I was to go with a girl... but that kind of fell through. So, do I still go?... Well I did, and thank god! This place still rocks!

Mentioning this p...
