Hude has a train station on the Bremen – Oldenburg line, with a side line linking Hude to Nordenham. All regional and most long-distance trains stop here. Depending on where you start your trip, the easiest way is most probably to travel to Bremen and change trains there. On the Bremen – Oldenburg – line, there are at least two trains per hour in each direction. A special feature on this line is the fact that you can also use the IC trains with your regional train ticket (which is not possible in almost all other parts of the country). This includes VBN-tickets as well as special Deutsche Bahn offers such as „Schönes Wochenende“ - tickets.

A Bremen – Hude ticket is 6,70 EUR one way for an adult. If you are two or more, group day tickets are usually cheaper than buying single ride tickets. All info correct as of 2015.
