Buskett Gardens. Mar 22, 2017
The Buskett Gardens is a beautiful wood created by the Knights of Malta as a hunting ground. Its name comes from the Italian word “boschetto” which means little wood.

At the Buskett Garden there are various kinds of trees and shrubs; as oranges, lemons and olive trees.

This wood is overlooked by the Verdala Castle. This mansion was built by the Grand Master de Verdalle as his summer house. Today this is the summer residence of the president of Malta.
