 A rather short ride through nice scenery Jul 20, 2008
If you want to take a day trip to the Morskie Oko, you might best take a minibus to the entrance of the national park.
These buses leave in front of the main bus station of Zakopane and don't cost that much (I believe it was around 9 PLN one way). The ride is fast and comfortable and takes about 20 to 30 minutes. These minibuses ride frequently all day long in both directions. You'll get dropped of at the national parks entrance, were you have to pay a small entrance fee (see my blog about Morskie Oko). From there on you can start walking to the lake. In the evening dozens of buses come waiting here again to bring tourists back to Zakopane.
