Take the Elite Tour !!! Apr 13, 2009
Take the Elite Adventure Tour !!! It is well worth the extra money. Our tour guide was named Chad he was fantastic!!! I suggest requesting him if he is available. We skipped the lines for all the rides, fed giraffes, and had lunch at a wonderful restaurant the Crown Colony House. You do have to pay extra for the tour but when you add up all the money you would spend the tour price isn't a bad price for what you are getting. The park was very clean. It seemed the animals were taken careof well! I will be making more trips to the park and doing the Elite Adventure it is nice to not have to carry a map all day. I suggest going to Busch Gardens. The coasters are by far the best of any park in the state.

Busch Gardens...One of my Favorites Thrill Parks Jul 12, 2008
Busch Gardens in Tampa is one of my favorite parks where thrill rides are concerned. But like many other parks in Florida, it is way overpriced...unless you are a resident, and then it's a bit cheaper. One day ticket here for an out-of-state visitor is about 68USD, cheaper if you buy online.
My favorite inverted ride of all rollercoasters I've been on is the Montu. The G-forces reach almost 4, and the loops are some of the highest. SheiKra is another one of the "dive" coasters, and is very similiar to the Mamba at World's of Fun. They've added floorless cars to the ride since my last visit. The Kumba is my second favorite coaster at this park. After an initial 135 foot drop, you plunge from 110 feet into a diving loop, feel a full 3 seconds of absolute weightlessness while spiraling 360 degrees, and then tear through one of the largest vertical loops. And finally, there is the Scorpion, a coaster that has one really good loop. I would rate this ride as just above average. Overall, Busch Gardens ranks high for thrill rides. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. |

We got up bright and early today - ready for Busch Gardens. At 8:15AM we were on our way in the car. The weather could have looked more promising, but we took our chances.
