Fun for a day at Busch Gardens Apr 19, 2011
If you live in the area i recommend getting a year pass. Its cheap monthly rate and pays for itself in a couple of trips. 2011 has a new roller coaster and a new show added.

Has animals, water rides and a train that takes you around the park. Weekends are crowded but weekdays basically no wait time for rides (during school period). Food is expensive but drinks are reasonable. Wear good comfortable shoes-you will be walking alot.

Fun! Apr 18, 2011
Since my family and I live in Tampa we have annual passes to Busch Gardens. We enjoy going and having a nice day. There are a good range of rides and attractions for all ages. The best roller coaster is Montu or Shekra. They also have a nice assortment of shows that you can see as well. If you visit around the holidays like Christmas and Halloween you are in for a treat. For Halloween they have "Hawloscream" It is really scarey. There are a number of haunted houses and party zones. I would not recommend to bring small children to this, it is more based on teens and adults that like the thrill of being scared.

Best place on earth - possibly! Apr 12, 2011
I have just come back from a 3-week break in Orlando, Florida. I went to all the theme parks - Disney, Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Centre etc. I enjoyed them all immensely but have to say that Busch Gardens was without a doubt the most amazing place. There was lots of gorgeous animals to see including many endangered species such as the white tiger and an albino kangeroo! The price was very decent at around £25 per person for the day. This price includes a safari-style jeep to see the animals in their own habitat. The queues were not as bad as you might think (25 min wait for the jeep) and their was plenty of opportunity for all the amateur photographers out there.

If you do 1 thing before you die, GO TO BUSCH GARDENS!!

complete family enjoyment Mar 05, 2011
This place is a blast for people of all ages and all walks of life. The park is well maintained and the customer service is top notch. they have several setions within the park and each cater to a diffrent crowd. the sesame street for 4 and under is a must a visit if you have toddlers. the sarrangati planes train ride is as close as you can get to africa from florida. for florida residents who can visit the park on regularly their anual pass is the way to go. overall i have enjoyed the park everytime i have been there and have taken annual pass two years in a row.

The best park in Florida Jul 09, 2011
Busch Gardens combines a theme park and zoo with some of the best rollercoasters I've ever experienced, enjoyed this park far more than Disneyworld/Universal Studios/MGM etc. Would have preferred a couple of days to try everything, there's too much to do in just one days visit!

Busch Gardens...One of my Favorites Thrill Parks Jul 12, 2008
Busch Gardens in Tampa is one of my favorite parks where thrill rides are concerned. But like many other parks in Florida, it is way overpriced...unless you are a resident, and then it's a bit cheaper. One day ticket here for an out-of-state visitor is about 68USD, cheaper if you buy online.

My favorite inverted ride of all rollercoasters I've been on is the Montu. The G-forces reach almost 4, and the loops are some of the highest.

SheiKra is another one of the "dive" coasters, and is very similiar to the Mamba at World's of Fun. They've added floorless cars to the ride since my last visit.

The Kumba is my second favorite coaster at this park. After an initial 135 foot drop, you plunge from 110 feet into a diving loop, feel a full 3 seconds of absolute weightlessness while spiraling 360 degrees, and then tear through one of the largest vertical loops.

And finally, there is the Scorpion, a coaster that has one really good loop. I would rate this ride as just above average.

Overall, Busch Gardens ranks high for thrill rides. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.
The Montu.
The Scorpion.
The Sheikra.
The Kumba.

It is nice, Louise...I like the African theme! Of course, my reviews on the parks are about thrill rides. So that's all I'm trying to focus on.

Busch Gardens is my favourite. It's very closely followed by Seaworld. I think they've got the balance just right.
