Hundreds of volunteers went to the streets of Chengdu city, holding candles and praying for children with blood diseases, as the Chengdu Media Group sponsored various fundraising events through out the Sichuan capital to draw attention to this less fortunate segment of the community. Locations included Hong Xing Road, Jin Li Pedestrian Street, Wenshu Temple and Shuang Lan Street. In the Wenshu Temple tourist district, kind-hearted students from Chengdu University of Information Technology braved miserable winter cold & rain.
