Buri Stand Bar & Restaurant
Buri Stand Bar & Restaurant Reviews
Affordable stand bar & restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo May 19, 2007
Located about 5 minutes away by foot from the Shibuya Station, this stand bar and restaurant is the perfect location for a quick bite, a drink with friends or even a good lunch/diner if you like small, simple dishes and it's pretty cheap.
As the name says, it's a standing place only, so not suitable if you're too tired to sit. They serve various types of sake, as well as beer, wine, tea, coffee and soda. As for the food, they cold and warm snacks, meat, fish and vegetable dishes. And the fun part of it, that most food is prepared right in front of your eyes, with a grill/barbecue at the counter, where everything is cooked on. If you're not that hungry or hungry at all, you can just get yourself a drink and talk with your friends about the day or other events. The staff is very friendly and gives great service, the place is small but comfortable and clean. I was there with a friend, who works close by and we had several dishes. Vegetarian for her and meat for me. Part of the Japan 2007 travel blog |
