If you're in for some fast-food, but can't spend a fortune on McDonald's or Bob's (which are a little too expensive for brazilian pockets), Burgão can be a nice option. They cover all the basics on burgers, french fries, nuggets and stuff. They also serve cheap dishes, and a pizza not for the weak of stomach, but that works well on the next day, when cold (the single men's breakfast of champions).I generally go for the double cheeseburger, or the one with crispy chicken. Then, some ice-cream (sundae) or milk-shake for dessert. The thing about Burgão is how close it comes to Bob's (a brazilian fast-food chain) in taste. The Ovomaltine (some kind of malted chocolate) shake owes nothing to the Bob's original recipe. If you're not a local and are going to eat on the restaurant's tables, you might wanna be a little careful with your stuff. Even though it's in one of Copacabana's main streets and near a metro station (Siqueira Campos), it's also near a slum entrance (favela do Tabajara). Nothing to run away from, specially if you only have a penny in your pocket, but you can't be too careless if "wealthy tourist" is written all over your face. Avoid bringing cameras, laptops, palms, ipods, etc., and you're pretty much ok. In all cases, they deliver (and charge a small extra for it). But they usually do it pretty quick.
