Bumbershoot Travel Reviews

Jun 19, 2007
Bumbershoot is a mixture of entertainment. Expect everything when you come to this major event held at the Seattle Center during Labor Day Weekend. When I say everything I mean music, film, comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, performance, and visual arts. This event draws some of the biggest names in the music industry including Nas, Kanye West, Panic! At the Disco, Joss Stone and many more. There is so much to do, its no wonder it is a full weekend. You could spend a whole day walking around all the booths and looking at what people are selling. The food is fair food, so you know its going to fatty and delicious. The comedians are always hilarious and the dancing performances are mind blowing. If you were going to visit Seattle for a week I would highly recommend coming sometime around Labor Day weekend so you can see one of the biggest events Seattle holds every year. The ticket prices are fairly cheap, $35 for a full day of entertainment. You cant beat that.

jwilsonwsu says: The Chapel Bar is what you think of when you think of metro, hip, urban club scene. What once used to be a mortuary, is now a place to drink and be merry. The venue is not that big, but the mirrors that line the wall make it seem huge. They have your standard drinks from a bar, and have an assortmen...
