Affordable but go across the road for 49p more Aug 16, 2012
So this is another all you can eat in Manchester (there's a lot of all you can eat restaurants around here so it's worth knowing which ones to chance and which ones to miss)

Now this isn't a bad place to eat for £6.50 you can get an all you can eat lunch menu for a seating time of 1 hour 30 mins (so unfortunatelyy you cannot sit in there all day). The food is pretty average quality though to be honest and some of it looks more like a childs craft box. Multi coloured e number prawn crackers anyone? the range and variety of food is a little limited too, and to be honest in the whole time I was there i didn'tt see one buffet plate get refilled or replaced, now maybe that was because there wasn't that many people in (even though it was 1pm) but it meant the food was tepid and i was worried about how long it had been stood there festering. not a very nice thought so i suppose that put me off eating from there as welll.

It's not the worst i'vee been to but its far from being any where near the best and to be honest if you can fish 49p more out of your pocket i'd head to Tops (review on profile) much better, cleaner and a better atmosphere by far.

Its a bit of a tight fit in here too so you have to be good at weaving in and out of each other and balancing your full plate on your head while you try to fit through the 1" gap to get to your seat without knocking the person behind you face first in to there food although that would make a good comical sketch. Oh and the other tip i'd suggest if your still planning on giving it ago is that you take a cushion because they have adult sized plastic school chairs which are so uncomfortable and to be blunt give you a numb bum! not a place you can really take your granny for instance.

Overall I'd probably say give it a miss but if you can't get in anywhere else i suppose its not going to kill you. Well I hope not anyway!

Congrats on the feature Katie, will give it a wide berth, if I'm ever allowed in Manchester again :D

Congratulations on the feature! I haven't actually found a good buffet in Manchester yet (we tend to go the Great Wall for normal dine in, Sweet Mandarin for posh and a little take away on Ancoats Road for take away) - are any of them any better? :)
