I traveled to Argentina with my Brother and his wife during their 16 month RTW trip. I flew 12 hours alone from NYC to BA where I met up with them minutes after I stepped off the plane.

Being so close from Santiago (only 1.5 hour flight) I've Been to Buenos Aires many times, for fun or business.
I always like to go back, it is a huge city, very safe, with lots of places to see and a vivid nightlife.
I've been to hotels and some hostels but lately I prefer to rent apartments for more privacy and best quality/price.

I lost amount of times I've been to Buenos Aires, I love it. Now have friends but always go on business trips to get famliarized with the destination. Love shopping there, the food, the Tango shows, the beauty salons, the shopping malls, riding on the Subte, the Remis (taxis) and just walking the city is a never ending experience.

Although I'm not a big-city type person, this is my favorite big city. I've been 3 times and still feel I've only seen a small part of the vicinity. Buenos Aires, although having some 12 million residents is fairly spread out, with a good mix of parks, plazas, statues and trees. T…

Once we were dropped off at the bus terminal we cleaned up a bit in the bathroom and tried to find a taxi that would take us to our Hostel. We did and it was a pretty nice ride. The taxi driver was really friendly and interested in learning about the plans of these two little gringitas.…

Argentina has always fascinated me. Once one of the 10 richest countries in the world and truly more European than South American, this proud nation is unique on the continent. Hated or envied by all other countries in the region, Argentina continues to feel European. It can be seen in the arc…
