Affordable Luxury in Buenos Aires May 22, 2008

We stayed in their "lolita" apartment, which was located in the Recoleta/Barrio Norte neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The apartment was spotless and had fresh flowers when we arrived. We had wonderful service and helpful guidance as to activities.

We stayed for 8 days, and the rental fee was about $250 US. It was for a very small studio, but there was hot water, a comfortable bed, tv, internet access and a small kitchenette area with a microwave, refrigerator, cooktop and coffe maker. We were able to get a sense of what it is like to live in Buenos Aires in a way that would have been impossible had we stayed in a typical hotel.

It was 4:15pm and I now had to hustle back to the apartment to shower and meet Adam. On the way I bought a dulce de leche helado to cool off. (And a big bottle of water.) At the apartment, I went to the 7th floor, to our door....and my key wouldn´t work… Just a Walk in the Park
