We left the hotel at 9:30 for a drive along the Southern Montenegro coast to view Sveti Stefan Island from above. Albania is only a short distance down the road from here. Abandoned or war-ruined villas in various states of reconstruction dot the shoreline. Returning north to Budva we walked thru town. The Old Town has city walls and a gate near the harbor. Several churches and many shopping opportunities populate the rest of the area. The churches are S…

I spent the first 4 days in Belgrade by myself and then met up with my cousin. After that my trip was prety much hijacked by relatives, lol. Most of my time was spent in Belgrade (saw the rolling stones), Novi Sad (went to Exit festival), Podgorica and Hervceg Novi (ok it didn't suck having a cousin who lived in a coastal city of Montenegro).
The picture was of me waiting in Budva as my uncles car had broken down....

After crossing the border, you immediately see why it's called Montenegro (Black Mountain). There are huge mountains everywhere. But they're white limestone, not black.... no matter, they're impressive anyway. After many kilometers, another hairpin corner, identical to the last hundred shocked us with a sudden sweeping view of the coastline. Budva was a cluster of houses, hotels and resorts squeezed between a small bay and the foot of mountains jutting up just behind. The next shock was th…

I live in London, I love the city more and more though being unemployed is rough. Let's just make this a general trendy life stylish blog with a note about as many borough and neighbourhood that I will manage to set foot in.
The blog won't follow a chronological order, so I will talk about the boroughs and then had my specific thoughts in between.

Just went arround Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Serbia. I just wonder how it was possible to destroy a such beautiful country! The people of the new countries are all very nice, proud and corect. Is it possible that just the difference of religion made them kill each other!? I can not believe that!

Travel to the Republic of Montenegro. Head towards the Bay of Kotor, the longest and deepest fjord in Southern Europe. See the little towns of Risan and Kotor. Then proceed to Cetinje, once the seat of Montenegrin rulers, today a city-museum. Travel to the coast for a short stop in the villages of Sveti Stefan and Budva before returning to Dubrovnik. (B)
