Budlight Downtown Live is a free summer outdoor concert series that takes the stage at Moore Square Park in downtown Raleigh. The concert schedule changes every year. I have seen headliners like Naughty by Nature, Violent Femmes, Better Than Ezra, Gin Blossoms, Spin Doctors, and Arrested Development. Lesser known, local, and Southern bands also play. Although bringing your own picnic is prohibited, beers are cheap and food stands are available. The surrounding neighborhood also has great restaurants and bars to satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst before or after the headliners jam.
