Scared the B'Jezus Out of Me! Apr 01, 2008
I flew on Buddha Air when I took a mountain flight to see Mount Everest. It was the first time I had flown on a developing country's airline and I was a bit apprehensive. For starters, you know how they attendants tell you to put your seat backs in the upright position for take-off? Well, my seat wouldn't do that and I was in a perpetual reclining position. the arms of my seat were taped with duct tape to hold them together! Good god, what did I get myself into?

On the plus side, the attendant would take us one at a time to the cockpit to get a good view of the mountains and Mount Everest. That was pretty cool and I got a wonderful pictures (see my Nepal blog).

Just so you know how insane I am, I flew Buddha Air a second time when I had to fly from Bharatpur back to Kathmandu. Oy vey!
