Budapest restaurants, cafe and food Reviews

Hey, check out the restaurants/cafés on 'Liszt Ferenc tér'. You'll find some popular places there. If you want to see some more locals, go to Sirály in 'Király utca 50', which is a café and a cultural center. Also don't miss 'Ráday utca' with restaurants/cafés catering for all tastes. A good indian fast food is on Andrássy út (corner of Jókai tér), called Bombay Express. Art-deco 1910's style cafés include Central near 'Ferenciek tere', Gerbeaud on 'Vörösmarty tér' and New York Café on 'Blaha Lujza tér' (very stylish, a bit pricy though). In this category, don't miss a small and affordable place called 'Cseszenyi' in 'Krisztina körút 34' on the Buda side, near the Castle. My secret tip to discover Hungarian wines is Maligán Wine Restaurant at 'Lajos utca 38' (a bit out of center). Fülemüle Restaurant serves traditional Central European jewish food in a very stylish environment in 'Kőfaragó u. 5'. You may want to discover Club 93, a tiny and cosy gay-friendly pizzeria on 'Vas utca' or Amster River Café on 'Párizsi utca'. Feel free to contact me for other, specific addresses.
