Buckingham Fountain Chicago Reviews
Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain Aug 14, 2011
Buckingham Fountain is a very popular landmark in Chicago downtown. This fountain is located in Grant park. Following the signs while coming from museum complex will take us there.
I have seen this place from the Skydesk of Sears tower first and visited the same next day.
In 1927 Kate Buckingham get this fountain built to honor her late brother Clarence. The official name of this fountain is Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain. Kate also left an endowment to maintain the fountain.
This fountain is located in a road parallel to Michigan avenue after Millenium park. Sea horse sculptures in the fountain looks great.
