Buca Di Beppo

i love italian food, but i'm always very picky when it comes to italian food. my relatives live in italy, so everytime i visit italy, i get the BEST ITALIAN FOOD in the world :).

that's why i rarely order italian food over here in luxembourg, because it's NOTHING compared to the ital. food in italy...

and as often mentioned the u.s.a aren't famous for their cooking culture... because 80% in the u.s consist of fastfood..

HOWEVER i love the italian restaurant BUCA DI BEPPO.
its food is so delicious, the athmosphere is totaly italo-american like in the movies in little-italy...
and the food actually isn't that far away from the real italian food :)
it's still has got the american touch, f.ex. the dishes with their american sausages, or pasta with chicken... but that's really not worth being mentioned.

we stayed 6 days in santa monica, and we had lunch 3 times over at beppo's... the "small" dishes are for 2 persons and cost around 12-16$. that's very cheap, and the food still is excellent. we were 3 guys, and we all had 3 small dishes together, so actually there was enough on the table for 5-6 people.

Buca di Beppo is almost the best italian restaurant i've been to outside italy. it's very simple, no poshy or classy bullshit... simple and good, and totally delicious! LOVE IT!
