The Bryn Athyn Cathedral is an architectural and natural wonder.
The building itself is beautiful, there are no right angles or straight lines in the entire structure. To quote the reason for this remarkable plan it "represents the unpredictable path of human growth". The beautiful metalwork that frames the door and the sculptures on the sides of the church follow in this fashion of adornment. The grounds around the Cathedral are wonderful. As the Cathedral shows the beauty of the creations of man, the grounds show the creations of God. The parks' expanse hosts a highly inclined hill, the cathedral sits on a terraced step. I didn't get the chance to enter the Cathedral, but I will go back someday...  Part of the Weekend Adventures 2008 travel blog
