In the park Aug 05, 2013
Bryant Park is such a lovely place!!! Usually parks are not so well organized nor populated, but this one looks and feels like favorite for many. It is located right behind New York Public Library (which should be visited) and it has many activities that you can join. They have park library where you can get magazines, books, newspapers and read it on one of the many chairs or benches in the park. Most of the paths have tables for people that are resting on the lunch break, enjoying a bit of the stress-less place. Movies in the park are everyday’s thing, I have seen classes held in different areas (Italian language class, yoga…). They also have few table tennis areas with some serious players :)

Free Movies at Bryant Park Jun 17, 2013
Bryant Park is a great park in New York and has a lot of free things to do, especially during the summer. The most popular activity Free Movies at Bryant Park.

If I'm in New York during the summer one of my favourite activities to do is to go to Bryant Park during movie night! You bring a blanket and some snacks and have a great night. When it gets dark the movie will start which always is a great American Classic like E.T.!

It's fun for the whole family, with friends or very romantic if your with that special someone.

Can you imagine a better night to spend in New York than watching a film under the sky in Bryant Park with all the New York lights around you?

A breathing hole Apr 03, 2010
When you have been walking the streets of Manhattan in the area of Time Square and your neck and feet are getting really tired you will appreciate a break in Bryant Park. I manage to stay in the park a couple of times and I must say I really enjoyed it in the morning when not that many people were there.

Bryant Park is a 39,000 m² privately-managed public park; it's bounded by Fifth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, 40th Street and 42nd Street.

Sitting here relaxing with a sandwich or just a coffee from one of the many coffee shops is quite wonderful.

The park gives you some good views amongst them Empire State Building and not at least the central building of the New York Public Library which actually is situated in the park. Although Bryant Park is part of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, it is managed by a private not-for-profit corporation, the Bryant Park Corporation and I think the managed well this breathing hole in the inner Manhattan.

This was my 4thtrip to NYC.  New York is one of my favorite cities and this trip had some old favorites and did some new things also. :)   This time I was on a budget and NYC is great …Bryant Park (behind the New York Public Library).  Or you can grab some street food along the way.  Snap…
