We headed for a road trip to Brussels which was quicker than I thought.  Four hours by Eurolines bus from Paris to Brussels was not really that long.  Things were quiet when we got to the city and shops were closed which made us wonder if it was a holiday that day. After lunch, we took a short walk to the historical centre and there we found people, lots of them..... all around the small packed place. EuroTrip 2007 part one!

Short break to Brussels, Belgium in July 2007 with Ed, Krishna, Matt and Ricky, my uni housemates. Highlights: Grand Place, Cathedral, frunky cafes and nice hostel bar Downsides: the shocking condition the city was kept in and the disappointing lack of occasion and presentation of the main tourist locations

So my point of entry was Amsterdam, and from there directly to Mieke's in Belgium. The one night in Japan was awesome, and the lack of sleep on the flight great. Finally i arrived.

My two best friends and I flew into Paris armed with our overly stuffed backpacks and Euro-passes. We took a train to Amsterdam then my first time to Berlin (amazing!). Then, we went to Switzerland spending two nights in Lauterbrunnen and then a night in Interlaken. As we headed back to Paris, we stopped to have lunch in Italy because it was Danielle's birthday (and she's dreamed of Italy...being Italian and all). Then, my friends few out and I stayed with a family for another month.
