Its a clean restaurant, the ambience is decent and so is the service. At first sight it looks like an expensive restaurant. The owner is a nice man who takes interest in making sure that the service is up to the mark.
The north Indian food that I tried, the taste was great. I had all my meals at this place for the whole day that I was at Rishikesh. The portions are pretty large, and even a half plate of veggies was enough, with some nice rotis/naan (Indian breads), to fill me up. Which is the reason I found this place to be relatively cheap, at good quality. While I would average about 100-120 at other places during my trip for a similar meal, here it only came upto about Rs 70-80. I would recommend the Paneer (cottage cheese) dishes and Dal with some butter naan/roti - on lunch/dinner I had variants of the same. This place is prominently located on the main road through Kailash Gate at Munni-ki-reti, right next to the Axis Bank and the GMVN adventure office.  Part of the Its India - its holy! travel blog |
