Brugge was probably my favourite place in Europe! Beautiful, enchanting, charming, full of belgian character, a small town with cobble stone streets, full of canals. Went to a pub with over 400 belgian beers behind the bar, each served with its own uniquely-designed glass ... you should have seen the drinks menu ... as thick as the bible!

The next day us and the Austrians did some touring around Brugge. It's a very beautiful city with a lot of canals. We walked around a couple big squares and did a canal tour as well. We layed in a park near the river for a while before going back to the hostel for another fun night at Belushi's. In April '06 I had the chance to travel to Holland, and Belgium, and also got a chance to fly an airplane for the first time.

The best waffel ever!

On May 16th we'll move on to the lovely Belgium town of Brugge.  My husband and I visited here a few years ago and had some of the best dark chocolate of my life - and took some absolutely wonderful pictures.  I can't wait to show my family this wonderful town!

One day in Brugge was not enough!

Definitely touristy, but for good reason.  The place is amazing.  I wish I was a better photographer.  While you're there drink the Zot.

Natuurlijk waren we ook vandaag weer vrij bijtijds ons bed uit. We hebben ons ontbijt netjes weggewerkt en daarna was het weer spullen inpakken en wegwezen. 13 agosto brujas: a las 8.30 fui a la estacion de tren para irme a brujas. Era la 1 era vez que usaba el euralpass y sin darme cuenta me sente en primera clase jajaj.
