Booked the mini-cruise through P&O and at £66 it was good value, but as a Buy One, Get One Free, it was marvellous value. Coughed up an extra fiver for a cabin with a view. We set out on foot again today, bright and early, with the objective of seeing Minnewater; a lake or basin on the canal system. It is a picturesque spot, surrounded by parks, a nearby monastery, and home to a large number of swans. The swans are to Bruges what the ravens are to the Tower of London. If you love chocolate, this is the festival you have to go to. It is called Choco-Laté and I visited it in 2007. There were 2 locations where you can taste chocolate. You will get some free samples of chocolate and sometimes you have to pay for it. The smell was wonderful. Chocolate everywhere. I saw a lot of chocolate art. I bought a bottle of Chocolade Huisjenever made by Stokerij Wissels from Hasselt.
