Bruce Peninsula Ontario Reviews
Bruce Peninsula Apr 11, 2011
I have been in this area many times. It is beautiful in the summer and this area has so much to see. I am planning yet another trip this summer in Aug 2011 with 30 of my friends.
These are the overall highlights with comments
Bruce Peninsula National Park
This is the park that has ok camp facilities but the hiking is awesome (It is the most see attraction when arriving in this area).
This is a quaint port town. Nice little restaurants and a great all you can eat fish and chips area. Great for the family, couples or friends,
Singing sands Beach
A huge sandy beach named after the whistling sounds it makes when the wind blows through the sand dunes
There are a few and you can drive to most of them
One of the top 3 sandy beaches in Ontario with beautiful sunsets.
Sauble water falls
A little park with some water falls.
Glass bottom boats
They depart from Tobermory. The crystal clear water provides up to 80 feet
A North American native Indian event that occurs every summer. This event helps us learn of the culture and usually has a little market available so you are able to buy some native Indian merchandise.
There are so many other sites here but I will fill you in after I visit a few more this summer.
